I haven't received any presets from Tiger; he's probably just busy.

Thanks for the help and offers of help! I sent a sampling of presets to both Fender TSL and ARX320. The issue BlueCajun mentioned sounds spot on.

I would be happy to mail my SD card to Fender TSL if Fender can correctly install the presets and backing tracks to it... my card should have ample room to store every preset and backing track available.

Hi Guys,

We are happy to assist. So, as an overview, the Presets need to be stored in the Presets folder and the Band Tracks will go in the Audio folder on your SD card. This is assuming that the SD card in question has already been inserted into the amp at least one time (i.e. formatted and contains the aforementioned folders).

With that said, please feel free to contact us directly and we would be glad to offer additional assistance with any specific issues that are being seen with this process. If you are going to email us, please include your Forum name, real name and a detailed description of the issue you are seeing. Lastly, Tiger J, did you included your Forum name in the email you sent us? Thanks very much.

Best Regards,

OK, I've been able to review the presets TigerJ sent me, and after copying them to my SD card, tested them in my G-DEC.

I got the same Invalid File indication, so, in one respect, that's good. (I was able to replicate what TigerJ was seeing.)

I then did a simple line by line comparison by opening the .fuse files in a text editor. (I'm on a Mac, and I used Xcode.)

On all the invalid presets, I saw this:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Preset amplifier="G-DEC 3.0" ProductId="10">

On any of my valid presets, there's this:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Preset amplifier="G-DEC3" ProductId="10">

Note, on the valid file, how it differs specifying the amplifier.

Opening each of the invalid files, I changed them one by one to "G-DEC3", saved them, and loaded them onto my SD card.

The files were now valid. Cool.

Testing one step further, I went back to one of the (now valid) files, changed it back to "G-DEC 3.0", saved it, and reloaded it.

And back to invalid it went. So, yeah, at least in this case, it appears to be solved.

I'm going to email the files (the good ones ;) ) back to TigerJ and see if they work for him as well.

Lastly, I'd be curious as to anyone else's experience with this particular snag/solution.

Jeff

Hi Guys,

Thanks for checking into this. I will also be following up with our lead software Dev today to check this out with the Presets that Tiger J sent in. And I will post update with information/suggestions.

Best Regards,

Alan

What about this; is there some solution? Still when i load presets from the webpage to sd-card and try to load from there to G-dec 15, more often than not there comes this "invalid error". Before this GD_ update thing came to these presets, it worked for me much better but now it's been long time with these errors..
