I've downloaded version 2.6.0, I plug my computer in my ampe and start the fuse application.

My amp says stand by, synching. the Fuse program is loading, and that is it. It never finishes loading, meanwhile the amp just goes to the regular mode.

Any idea's. I'm running Windows 8 beta.

Thanks

Get back to Windows 7

WINDOWS DOES NOT USE THE TERM "BETA" LIGHTLY!!!!
YOU ARE A "CRASH TEST DUMMY" WITH NO LIABILITY ON MICROSOFT'S PART.
THEY WOULD LOVE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TROUBLES.
MAKES THEM GET BETTER, SOONER.
FENDER MIGHT STATE THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WINDOWS BETA #8

I own seven computers and am always late changing operating systems.
Too much potential headaches with the Beta software from any company.

=============
update your usb port device drivers

Download latest FUSE software from Fender
(rather than using the amp's disc, which should work, anyway)

Reboot your computer
Follow instructions as to the order of plugging things in.

If still not working, then try
having an active amp, which is set to the software I/O mode plugged into the computer
and reboot the computer to make sure the computer reads the usb port.

Before taking the G-DEC back to the dealer or shipping it to Fender,
read a ton of great stuff within this forum.
Also, you have the G-DEC amp, G-DEC settings, usb cable, computer, & software.
Mess around a bit with the order of connecting before and after booting the computer.

There are millions of G-DECs, so most work smoothly.
Always, new devices and device drivers and the handshaking software are a concern.
Sometimes it is smooth and sometimes you need help.
Like installing a printer or scanner. Some are simple plug & play ~ others not.
And, what troubles you and your amp/computer, may be nothing be smoothness to others.

Hi Jettblack1998,

Thanks for your inquiry. Seeing as you are running a beta build of Windows, you will likely have some additional variables to contend with. With that said, I would suggest that you try our latest public beta build of Fender FUSE software. There are some specific improvements in the area of connectivity. You can find that here: http://wpc.077d.edgecastcdn.net/00077D/ ... 6.1.35.exe. Please let us know how it goes and if we can assist further. Thanks.
