Hello,
I can no longer save to QA1, QA2 or QA3. Pressing and holding down the buttons to save a selected backing track no longer does anything.
I also tried to import a preset from the Utilities Menus, but it says that there are no presets on my SD card, when infact there are 4 on there.
When I press the main Quick Access button, I can scroll thru' my backing tracks with repeat pressing the Quick Access button or rotating the big knob.
This problem started when I imported a midi file to the QA1, and then found out I could not slow it down (there is no Band softkey in Quick Acess...((I have since read your reply from my previous thread))). So then I tried to over-write the first band track 00 (00-99) with the midi file, which I eventually did after figuring out how to do this...following the instructions from the Advanced Owners Manual left a lot to be desired.
(I also tried to upload the midi file using Fuse 2.6.0...all I ended up with was a blank 00 band track).
So I re-downloaded the SFR Blues Edition, being far the fastest way to get back to normal, or so I thought...but now I can no longer save to QA1,2,3.

Things I have done to try to solve the problem...

Made sure of the latest Firmware 1.04
Re-formatted my SD card with G-DEC 3
Downloaded the SFR Blues and put the 3 files onto the SD card
Inserted the SD card and switched on the G-DEC 3
Now I have a new version of the Blues.

None of this cured the problem...also my foot pedal is messed up...un-plugging the foot pedal made no difference.
If I select any QA button on the foot pedal and press play, nothing happens.
Seems like something has got corrupted in the software.
How can this be resolved?

Thanks

Hi! I am going to follow your thread.
Which G-DEC model/year did you purchace/do you own?
Did you purchase new and are still under Fender Warranty?
I just received a new Standard G-DEC 30w 1x10 Combo with SD-Card
and am interested how this software issue will be taken care of.
. . . . . Either by this great Fender Forum or by Fender Warranty Service.

Do any local dealers know how to work the G-DEC Software?
Toppscore :)

I bought this G-DEC 3 Thirty online from Altomusic.com in June 2012. They had a special going on at the time. The amp is still under warranty.
I was hoping a Fender tech would comment, and was wondering if I could take it to any authorized fender dealer.
The amp still plays fine, and I can still select my backing tracks from the SD card, but can not save them to QA1, 2, 3, and hence can't use the foot pedal to start and stop.
If I select a backing track and try to save it, it just selects 00, 01 or 02 from the main presets, but ignores the backing track I want to save.
