Hi adolfocelso,

Thanks for your inquiry. The Fender G-DEC 3 is not designed for use with bass guitars. You run the risk of voiding your warranty if the amp is damaged when used in this manner. And I'm not here to sell you anything. But you may want to check out the Fender Bronco 40 amp if you are looking to do some real bass-tailored recording. This amp is designed for bass and has some really nice models and is fully compatible with Fender FUSE. If you like, you can check it out via the link here. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Thanks for the answer, Fender TSL.
Few years ago, I remember a friend caused a fatal damage in a multi-effect because he plugged a bass guitar for use the tuner. Before use my G-DEC this way, I thought so better ask for some piece of information. In my case, maybe it's better buy an USB interface for home recording, using its inputs for bass, mics etc.

Hi adolfocelso,

You are very welcome. An interface may be a good idea. Although, the Fender Bronco 40 also offers USB connectivity and really nice models as well as a balanced XLR out. But, if you want to record a variety of sources, the USB audio interface may be the way to go.

Please let us know if we can assist further.
