Hi Everyone -

I downloaded a lot of presets and backing tracks and placed them in my SD card under the correct folders. When I inserted my SD card, I was able to hit QA and access all the backing tracks, but I was unable to change presets. Actually, I couldn't find the presets on the card when it was inserted into the amp. I pulled the card out and put it in my computer, and they were there...so I know they're certainly on the disk.

So, I guess I need help accessing my newly downloaded presets that are on the sd disk when it is inserted into my amp. Thanks alot. I really love this little amp...I find it fabulous for practicing.

JB

Did you format the SD card in the amp?

Yes, I did. I figured it out this morning. I went into "Utilities" on the amp and I was able to scroll through the presets. Thanks!

Hi rattlesnake,

So, I wanted to clarify here as to the difference between accessing Presets and Band Tracks on your Fender G-DEC 3. With Presets, you can store them on the SD card, but you will (as you may have found) need to Import them to a Preset location on the amp's hard drive in order to use them.

With the Band Tracks, you can store them on and access them directly form your SD card with the Quick Access feature. Press the Quick Access button repeatedly until you see 'SD - Wav' on the screen. Then turn the silver encoder knob on the amp until you see the file you want to play and press the Start button. Please let us know if we can assist further.
