Fuse takes a very long time to sync to the amp when I make changes.
I have a Macbook Pro with Lots of ram and HD space.
The SD card in the amp is an 8GB with about 4 GB worth of band tracks and presets.
When I save something on the amp, fuse and the amp say they're syncing but never finish the sync.
I have to force quit the Fuse application and power cycle the amp to get back to normal.
Any Suggestions?

Yeah, keep hope that the next release fixes this. The first time I ran into this, I waited (foolishly) for 25 minutes.

My only workaround is to not save anything to the amp while using Fuse. I'll pull the SD card out (after shutting down the amp, of course) connect it to my MacBook Pro, and transfer tracks and presets directly from computer to SD card.

That's interesting...about shutting down the amp before removing the SD Card. I've been removing and reinserting the SD card in my GDec after backing up some changes for well over a year without shutting down the amp and with no problems. Maybe it's because I never upgraded from v. 2.3, or maybe it's a PC thing, or maybe it's both......
Go figure

You just like to live on the edge, Alex. ;)

I actually have never tried your method. I had it in my head that amp shutdown was a "best practice" procedure. Interesting! 8)

Is that the Edge with a truck load of effects...I wish
I confess that I just assumed that I could pull the SD card out while the amp was on, make changes to it using my pc, then slide it back in and voila!
It works almost all the time, but....sometimes fuse hangs, so I have to exit fuse and relaunch. I've never lost anything on the SD card though.
Searching for some wood to knock on, I remain,
Alex
ps...I like your posts, timely and to the point!

Well, I used to be a scholar!
Here's something that I posted on the lounge forum that pretty much sums up why many of not only play guitars, but have chosen Fender guitars and amps. Also, there are many great tips on deportment, showmanship and lead playing :)

Enjoy, and happy fourth from the Great White North.
