I'm having trouble trying to load to load a preset from the Media library.
Here's what I am doing:
I select media library in Fuse
Do a search for (in this case) Surf with SD selected as the search location
It finds several presets with surf in the name and lists them in the presets box
also finds a couple of surf tracks and displays them in the Band Track box
Here's where it gets dicey, When I Ctrl-click on the preset I want ( on mac ) I get a selection box to either get preset from amp or delete preset. I select get the preset.
The fuse software goes into the updating files bar and the amp says updating files - please wait.
I notice the amp seems to go into the USB mode because the G_DEC drive is visible on the desktop.
The system seems to never complete the updating procedure. After a long time the amp and Fuse are still attempting the update.
I also notice that Fuse is displaying the Blues theme for the amp (I have the Blues set loaded in to the amp) but when it starts the updating it switches to the blue Original theme in fuse.
The save button on the amp turns red during this updating.
The only way to get back to normal is to close fuse, disconnect from the G-DEC drive, and cycle power on the amp.
Does this mean that I cannot use these surf presets in the blues amp?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Hi and welcome,
You have to load the preset into the computer location first. This is presumably what the 'get preset from amp' command is trying to do, hence searching for the computer location via the usb link.
Any preset that can be accessed from the computer location (documents/fender/fuse/presets) will have 4 commands including load preset and save preset to amp. The load preset command temporarily loads the selected preset to your current location. It becomes permanent only if you save it.
If you don't already have it, the Fuse manual has this info on p.10
It is available in the Support section of this website
http://support.fender.com/manuals/softw ... ,EXP1pedal)_rev-F_English.pdf
fwiw, I'm using a pc, so control click is a right click for me.
cheers,
Alex

Hi jimh54,

It sounds like things are not working quite as they should here. Can you please send along an email with your Forum name, real name and your text from this thread, and we will be happy to assist further. Thanks very much.
