Just picked up a G-Dec 3 15 to use as a practice amp when I'm on the road. So far it's been just what I was looking for.

What I can't find is a resource that explains the various settings for the amps and effects in more detail. For instance what does the "attenuation" setting in the tape delay do?

I don't have a problem just going by ear. But I m curious what the various settings are actually doing.

Does such a resource exist?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome,
A good place to start is to download the Cybertwin manuals which are available on this website.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=69255
They have a lot of good information about various fx units and controls. Unfortunately, they don't have information on some of the newer fx available in the GDec's, but as you already know, the ear can usually sort it out.
cheers,
Alex

Thanks!

I've got plenty of experience with pedals and amps so I can figure most of 'em out. Sometimes it's just nice to know what the designers were going for.

Some of 'em don't quite translate to the "real world" but that's fine. The Vibratone is more like an actual Leslie with a separate horn then a Vibratone, but that's fine with me. More options then my real Leslie 16.

As a portable practice amp I'm digging it so far.

It is a great amp...check out the stereo tape and reversing delay units if you haven't already. I can spend hours tweaking and / or creating new presets.
The down side to the amp is that I've become a bit of a hermit in my basement / studio, or so my wife claims!
enjoy.....
Alex

Im having trouble figuring out how to adjust the different delays. Is there a manual or can you explain the different meanings like feedback, flutter, level, etc?

Thanks
Steve

Hi and welcome, Steve...
Try downloading and reading the Cybertwin and Cybertwin SE manuals available in the support section of this website
http://www.fender.com/en-CA/support/art ... =downloads
They have a lot of information about the various fx and the controls thereof.
cheers,
Alex
