I bought a Brand New 2011 Fender G-DEC Thirty Blues version.
I bought it in December 2011.
I have not had time to open it up, yet, still in factory box, unplayed.

I looked on EBay, and there are ZERO G-DEC Blues,
two G-DEC Country's, and plenty of G-DEC Metals.

What gives? Are the Blues & Country out of production?
Are they super rare or valuable?

I purchased all of the books with SD-Cards.
Will Fender introduce more SD-Card books than the original twelve?

I am getting ready to play with this amp and along with the SD-Card books

Are the G-DEC Blues amps super rare?

Can I get $6,600.00(+) for the MINT-IN-BOX G-DEC-Blues amp if I list it???

Thanks for any and all comments. Toppscore 8)

Once you pull it out of the box, it will be worth less than you paid for it. Until then, it probably still is worth less. The trend on the pricing of these units has been decidedly downward. Congrats.

Now play the thing and enjoy it. That's the return on your 'investment.'

No Biggie

Really, I saw some sell for $600 and I paid $250 because of a special Music 123
Columbus Holiday deal. But, unless it is worth Cajillion$, I am ready to play along with
AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, Santana and others.

My real interest is wondering for an answer as to
WHY there are no more, and
IF there will be more SD-Card & Books to add to the current twelve???

Dude, really? Do you really want 6600 bucks for it. I think you are insane. If they still make 'em it would be worth about 150 bucks which is the going price for gdec 30.

Gag me with a three dollar bill. Why am I insane?

Actually, I'll take $100k if offered. Try to find one, if you can
If someone will pay it, I will accept it.
Anyway, you are on the WRONG PAGE, DUDE . . . .
as we are not chit-chatting about the G-DEC Thirty.

We are/were shuckin' & jivin' 'bout the G-DEC-BLUES of which there are fewer
than there are states in the UNION, and none known to exist on the open market.

As well we were/are chillin' 'bout the G-DEC-COUNTRY of which only ONE
is known to exist from a Fender Factory run of nearly nothing.

So, the question is, Wasssup? Where are they? Why no resale market?
Why no new sales market? Must be a good product. A real keeper.
Must be rare. Like a 1954 Fender 5B6 1x15 Bassman

Is this thread pure sarcasm or did I miss something...the G-Dec 30 is offered in a Blues, Country and Metal version. Same as the every day 30 except for the factory presets which you can download anyway. OK, they have different covering too. I have the blues model which I paid $300 US for, you can get them now for $200 or maybe less. Are you perhaps talking Blues Jr. special edition?

Again. None for sale. No used ones.
Can only find one Country and Zero Blues.
What gives?

If so popular, why no production?

Copyright issues? Trademark problems?

I'm not trying to be an arse, OK, but there are plenty of these in stores and on the 'bay though the Blues editions are harder to find. The only difference (from a regular 30) is the covering on the amp itself, so these are not even close to being rare or collectible. So this thread is tongue in cheek right?

I am very serious. There are ZERO G-DEC Blues on EBay, and
Three G-DEC Country on EBay IN ANY CONDITION!!!

Maybe you have missed the boat = just did not know the G-DEC truth.

The G-DEC-Thirty comes in four (4) flavors, Normal, Blues, Country & Metal.
Forget the exterior it is the Fender Factory Embedded Software that makes
each of the four G-DEC-Thirty amps different and unique. Yes, you can add
your own presets and software, but, you cannot get the Blues or Country
software unless you have those two amps (Metal as well).

READ THE DIFFERENCES and tell me the are all the same. Thanks

The G-DEC 3 Thirty Blues is a vintage-styled amp clothed in classic Fender fashion. Blonde vinyl covering, Oxblood grille cloth, brown dog bone handle and chrome corners add up to a tasteful early 60s vibe. The onboard backing tracks are CD-quality loops from dozens of top musicians, with a special nod to the blues. For fun, we've also included tracks in various vintage jazz, R&B and soul styles. The 100 included tone presets are appropriate companions to these styles, and guitarists will have a blast jamming with them. As with all G-DEC 3 models, computer hookup (with free Fender FUSE software) lets you custom-configure your amp. You can add, delete, change, and swap loops and presets to your heart's delight, and tons of free presets and loops are available at the Fender FUSE community site.

The Fender G-Dec 3 Thirty Country is a stylish amp that speaks to the country boy (or cowgirl) who knows twang! Gorgeous Western cowboy tooled vinyl covering, Wheat grille cloth, and chrome corners will make guitarists want to pull on the old boots and plug in the Telecaster. The onboard backing tracks are CD-quality loops from dozens of top musicians with a special nod to classic and modern country, rockabilly, and Americana styles. The 100 included tone presets, written by pickers like Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, James Burton and more, are appropriate companions to these tracks, and guitarists will have a good time jamming with them.

The Fender G-Dec 3 Thirty Metal is an aggressive-looking amp which will have the metal or punk guitarist plugging in and shredding for hours. Black/White/Grey camouflage covering, black grille cloth, and black hardware shout that this amp means business. The onboard backing tracks are CD-quality loops recorded by some of the stars of the genre, including members of Hatebreed, Anthrax, Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, Sepultura, Bad Religion, and more. In addition to an unrelenting set of metal and punk, some killer metal drums-only loops and a few redneck rock tracks are thrown in for fun.

The deal is, I am going to get another one just to have more FFF (Fender Factory Fun).
These amps have a great thirty watt solid state system with a nice 10" speaker and,
my favorite item = head phone jacks. I have purchased ten of the twelve SD-Card Books.
Real cool to play along with.

Have you checked out any of the four VIDEOS on the Fender G-DEC site???
Metal, Blues, Country & Normal.

So, maybe you just did not know about the G-DEC and thought the Tolex was the only differences.

This is why the Country & Blues are highly desired and are rare to find or locate.
All lower priced used G-DEC amps are snatched up. Check older sales of the Blues.
Nobody is selling them!!!

Please do let me know if I changed your point(s) of view on the new Fender G-DEC-Thirty.

Thanks. Toppscore 8)

You can get the other presets by merely downloading them from Fender. I have all four presets on my harddrive so if I ever want to change them I can. Just because there are none right now, which doesn't surprise me because Sam Ash was selling the 30s for 150 bucks, doesn't mean there wont be more in the future. As far as I know the G-Dec 3 is very successful and Fender has no intention of stopping the line. However taking into consideration that amps bought ten years ago are more expensive now you may be able to put that in your closet for 30 years and it may command a high price then but I just don't see anyone that wants one paying more than 150 for it. Sorry.

On this page go down to the G dec area and you will see the blues content link.

Topp,
I have a Blues edition myself, you can download all of the "special" presets from Fender so it does come down to just different exteriors. I looked at ebay briefly and saw quite a few Country editions but no blues. I paid $300 for mine, you can get them for $200 now. I like mine, don't understand it at all but for what I do know it's pretty cool. The first gen. G-Decs were much much easier to figure out - obviously didn't have as many features though.
Cheers.

Question, since you have taken a step further than me,
Are you saying that I can download Fender "Country Tracks" into my Blues amp?
and all of the software will fit and work?

I apologize. Thought some software was factory installed and some space
is left over for personal usage. This is great news to me.

***LeftyBlues: Would you please point me to the link where the download
process takes place or is described? Thank you. Toppscore.
