I made a public complaint so I'll follow up with a public correction. My Gdec 3 30 had me pulling my hair out as I'd stated on here. After it formatted itself as a result of my saving a phrase to it, I was less than impressed. Arrangements were made to replace it even. But... while waiting for arrangements to send it back I've been using it to make changes I would setup on a replacement and I've been using the hell out of it. The thing is, it hasn't whimpered a single time since it did its little self destruct trick. Is it cured? Don't know... I have 4 years, 11 months and a few weeks to find out I suppose but if I were to send it in at this point I doubt they'd find anything wrong with it other than the obvious backwards way it's required to load data - no biggie there once I figured out the work around. Others on here have the exact same issue there as well as many I'm sure don't frequent these forums.

I sent a PM to Loren with which I haven't seen an answer to, but something did pop up that has me curious. When exporting presets to reconfigure this thing, the grind it.fuse preset wouldn't import back into it. It stated it was "corrupt or missing". The actual file is missing some entries at the end (nothing between the FUSE markers), but otherwise, has no visible corruption. Strangely, this was the preset I was using when it crashed and it was never tweaked - it was used as installed. Was this a culprit? I don't know, but what I DO know is, this thing is addictive and working like a champ ever since.

I want to thank Alan and Loren for taking up the slack here and offering the help! Hopefully I won't be bothering you guys for a while!

Hi KMatch,

Can you please send me an email to the TSL address? Loren is not moderating this forum discussion at this point. Thanks.
