Hi, Forum. Just got a new GDEC 30 along with the Hal Leonard-Eric Clapton book/SD card. The presets on the card admirably replicate the tone settings on the amp-but how do I see what those settings are? The screen only shows, typically, "15-Wonderful Tonite-Demo", not which amp model used or its settings. Actually, I'd like to find the presets for Steve Winwood's "Dear Mr. Fantasy" and "Can't Find My Way Home". Steve's obviously a Fender endorser and uses the guitars and amps in performance. Is there anyplace that shows, for example; "on this song the Strat is set with the pickups on Position 4, tone set to "8", volume to "9" on the guitar while he uses and Bassman with the treble on "3", bass on "7" volume "6", etc, etc. To set the preset on your GDEC, choose "Blackface" with "Reverb" and a "Stompbox" with delay of "2".

OR

Download the preset (called "Dear Dr. Dream" or some other typical euphemism) from the following website: http://etc, etc.

Is this too much to ask?

First, if you have installed Fender FUSE, you should be able to see the amp/pedals & settings there.

Once in FUSE, log into the FUSE Community, and search presets for what you want. It may or may not be there.

Everything you've asked for is already available.

Thank you. I just installed FUSE but haven't used it yet-still working on the manual. I use a Mac running LION. The GDEC HD does not appear on the desktop when the USB cable is connected. I have pressed the "UTIL" button and held it for the prescribed 2 seconds (even longer) to no avail. Is the software LION compatible?
(Thanks for bearing with the "newbie"!)

I believe there have been issues with Macs & FUSE, but I'm not familiar with them, since I have a Windows PC. Someone else may have to help there. I had to go to my programs under the Windows Start button and put an icon on my desktop.

Fuse kind of works (real slowly) but I have been unable to find presets for Mr. Fantasy or Can't Find My Way Home. Anyone know of them?
