Here's a question for someone - this amp is surprisingly loud, no complaints there, but when using clean tones at levels around 7 and above, the tone begins to sound overloaded. I'm wondering, is this due more to the speakers breaking up, or is it the electronics of the amp?

Is it a distortion/breakup sound or is it a background static/hiss/fizz? I haven't had issues with distortion (other than the stompboxes being crappy) but I have had issues with the "fizz".

It's just breakup, no fizz. It's really what you'd hear with many amps cranked to the max - actually the breakup is fairly mild, as in a slight overdrive effect. I'm just curious if a speaker upgrade would help, though that opens up another can of worms when it comes to accurate modeling. Maybe it's the amp though :)

Try running the line out to another amp, either a powered speaker or a guitar amp preferebly effects return side for all the power you could ever need. Remember it's supposed to be a "practice" amp, that's why it only has a 10" speaker.
