Ok, I finally got around to trying Amplitube today with my G-DEC. After a few minutes messing around and figuring out how to get the setup where it needed to be from a post elsewhere in the forum, I had it up and running. But it sounds positively TERRIBLE. No matter what setting I use through the G-DEC or what setting in amplitube I get this nasty distorted tone and percussive "attack" sound with each pick of a string.

I'm running this pretty much as noted here, G-DEC set as both input and output and starting with the cleanest setting out of the G-DEC (Jazzmaster with no effects) and then just pulling up a basic clean amp model in the 65 Twin list and that's it, no other changes or tweaks and the sound is terrible. It's just this nasty overdriven and artificial sound and by no means clean. I don;t really know what else to look at or what would cause this so I haven;t gone any further but suffice it to say, as-is something ain't right and this is perfectly useless. Help!
