After saving presets to the FUSE software on my computer I then try to move these presets to the SD Card on the Amp. Everything looks like that goes OK. Then when I try to access the presets on the SD Card the Amp says they are invalid. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I would suggest trying to access the sd card using the amp quick access control. I've had trouble trying to have Fuse access an sd card in the amp. If it doesn't work, try moving the presets from Fuse to the sd card when the card is plugged into the computer, not the amp. Fuse is a bit clunky, but if I try different options I can usually get things to work.

THANKS! I'll have to get a card reader for my laptop and try that.

I'm experiencing a very similar problem. I think it may be due to the Fuse software saving the .fuse file in a format that is unreadable by the amp. See my reply to the following thread:
"http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=67149"

The Fuse software (at least the newest version on the Mac) saves the second line of the .fuse preset file as follows (you can use a text editor to view the contents):
<Preset amplifier="G-DEC 3.0" ProductId="10">

Manually changing and saving that line to the following should result in the preset file working:
<Preset amplifier="G-DEC3">

Hopefully Fender will push out a fix for this soon.

There are indeed varitations between FUSE presets and native amp Presets. If you have presets in FUSE it's best to save them to the amp from FUSE. It seems like you're doing more work trying to send them to an SD card and then import them. Is there a reason you're doing it that way?

Hi Loren,

The reason is that my guitars and amp are across the house from the computer (which is in a shared, family area). It's much more convenient to save presets downloaded from the Fuse Community (and sometimes tweaked using Fuse) to my SD card plugged into my computer's SD card reader and carry the SD card to the amp than it is to move the amp back and forth each time. I'd be willing to bet that lots of other users are in the same boat.

Many thanks!
