TBFL; thanks for that. I'm not in a rush to spend the money but a Macbook Pro is in my future. I'm enjoying the G-dec so much, I want to keep it that way.
This probably won't help you but did you try taking your presets off of the Mac, onto an SD card and accessing them throught the amps Quick Access? Just a thought.

Affirmative.

Silverlight page: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx

Using Safari on Lion, here's what I get when I hit that page:
"The version of Silverlight installed is:
Silverlight 5 (5.0.61118.0)

You are ready to use Microsoft Silverlight"

Drew:

I will check that out later and try it. I think that the problem may be when Fuse is trying to save the preset to the Mac. I just downloaded a preset called GD-apache.fuse and it's file size is 1,851 bytes and it works. The one that I saved is only 320 bytes and it is corrupted according to Fuse. There was a time (back in my tech days) when I would have gone crazy tracking down the solution to a problem like this. No wonder I had high blood pressure. Now, I just move on to something else. No use dwelling. Life is to short.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will let you know how it turns out. Right now, I need to get some practice in before my granddaughter calls on Skype or FaceTime for her daily lesson/practice session.

Hey Drew,

The Mac version of FUSE has never been able to backup both Presets and Band Tracks. This is due to a limitation in the Mac OS version of Silverlight.

I could not find this limitation listed in the manuals anywhere Loren. Thanks for the info. When I had interacted with one of your reps (Brad or Alan - I don't remember which), they has simply given me instructions on how to do so manually.

Mac programs are written in objective-C via Xcode. Done properly, there would be no need for Silverlight and thus the program would simply work.

I have said this many times before. The G-Dec 3 is a work of art. Fuse is a useless kludge.
