I've had my 30 since the fall. Have tried to get bandtracks to download with 0 success. Whether trying initiate download from Fender Fuse software in the Media Library section to trying it right from the Fuse website the same thing happens: Nothing!

To be specific: from the Media Library I select the track from the web list, right click, the pop up box says 'Download Band Track'. I click and the box goes away and that's it - nothing ever happens.

From the Fuse website I select a band track click download and again - nothing. No idicator for download progress or anything. I've let it run for an hour, 6, 24 - nothing ever works or changes.

Running Windows XP.
I've updated firmware, still no luck.

Very frustrated, any help would be most appreciated, Thanks,
Greg

It sounds like your definitely following the right steps.

On the FUSE site, when you click on the download button to download the track, it should bring you to another page that contains more info on that backing track as well as another download button that must be clicked to actually begin downloading the track. Are you seeing this second page?

Are you logged into the FUSE site?

GM maybe this will help.

I am looking at the GDec but do not have one at this time however, I do have a Mustang III and the Fuse software. Downloading was a bit confusing to me also, but try this.

When you first connect to FUSE the interface shows your amp connected and the current Preset loaded, check in the lower right corner for a green square lit showing you are logged on.

In the Top area of the interface are two blue text areas, we want to look at the one on the right side, it is the search area. Under it are 3 tabs "Computer", "Amp", and "Web" these buttons ONLY affect the search area.

To the right of the blue text area is a button labeled "Media Library", click on this to open the Media Library. Your interface changes to the Media Library and 2 large blue text areas. Notice that in the center of these text areas just above the the top text area you again see three tabs "Computer", "Amp", and "Web" these buttons ONLY affect the Media Library.

After you right click on a a "Band Track Name" and choose download you should see the status bar at the bottom left of the interface display a downloading message. Mine only last a second or so, so you might be missing it. To check if the item downloaded click the "Computer" tab of the Media Library control and you should see the file listed.

These are saved on your computer under "Documents\Fender\Fuse\Audio\WaveMP3"
if the are not there be sure that you can write files to that area.

You can also use the "Add to Library" button which will allow you to select where you want the file saved, but then you cannot load the Band Track using the FUSE software(at least with my Mustang).

The two sets of "Controls" with the same name were confusing to me.

Hope this helps.
