It appears the 3/Thirty is being discontinued. I bought one today from GC on clearance for $278 but had to take a display. They said they can't order any more. Luckily it's in good shape, I don't think it's ever been plugged in.

On the Musician Friend's and Guitar Center sites, the 3 30 is still available in every option, except blues. And this is, what, less than two months after someone from FMIC hopped on the forum to insist that the blues version is the most popular. ('We can't keep it on the shelves,' that person wrote. Whatever.)

Of course, that FMIC employee's post has been removed from the thread. Hilarious.

It's a fun tool. No regrets. But it can be tough to use, and the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. But, hey, for $400, what should you expect?

Modeling is here to stay. So are the arguments about it.

Just to clarify: If these little amps are on the way out, I wouldn't be shocked. I'm just saying that, as of now, some are still out there.

I think what you see online are the warehouses being emptied. Guitar Center is selling all in store units on clearance to clear them out. I admit I thought about waiting to see what might replace it, but I decided to save some money. I just hope the replacement model uses the same patches and band files so we don't get left behind.

Yeh it seems funny that they came out in 2010 and I bought mine in Aug 2011 and now they are discontinued..I wonder if they will make a new version. They sure are nice for me...

It's a good little amp, priced competitively. It's fun for jamming, practice, whatever.

But it looks like people don't want Fender amps for anything that's *too* out there.

Who knows.

I believe the Country are all gone, the Blues are all gone and
there are some Metal available and lots of Standard G-DEC available.

Bought two and have played with one, no problems at all.
Concept is outstanding. Wish there were more books/SD cards
than the original twelve, like maybe 100(+) more

Toppscore 8)

I love the books w/SD cards too. There would be more of them if this were a longer-term product for Fender and it sold better.

Just sold my Blues G-DEC for $450. New in the box.
I still have the plans for my G-DEC Standard
and uploading the Blues Metal & Country tracks.

I just got my musicians friend august catalog today and on the front cover they have the G-DEC 30 at a further price reduction now selling for 149.99! This is just a fantastic deal,if anyone is here is still thinking about getting one buy it now before there all gone.

I bought the G-DEC 3 15W over two months ago from M.F. and they sold out fast,if i had more room i would also consider buying the G-DEC 30.
