I don't know why, but this is what I get:

I think its brilliant of MF if that is what the situation is.

Here's the MF link:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/search/s ... on=g-dec+3

Don't mind me, I just hope they don't discontinue them, even though I got mine after the price drop. It's a great amp and I want them to come out with more SD songbooks.

Like I said same here..

Congratulations on ordering your amp! Which one did you get? I love mine. I've had lots of modeling amps and they have come and gone. The g-dec is a keeper. More fun than a barrel of monkeys, as they say. Other than the g-dec, I keep a multi-effects pedal to hook up to my boringly clean tube amp.

+1 Dealt with Sweetwater many times, never had a single issue.

Just bought my latest American Standard Tele from them. First one arrived with a blemish under the clear, they actually sent out a replacement without asking me to sent the first one back, they just sent a return shipping label with the new guitar. No one else does that!

I ordered the 3 - 30, $299 everywhere on line except maybe Guitar Center at $399. Had the original Gdec executive years ago, liked it but needed something else and sold it to a friend, saw the new ones and with the added features bought it for practice, possible gig with it. Got a Vox pathfinder 15R I use for smaller gigs when I don't want to lug around my Ampeg Reverberocket R212.

I am Not going to get in an argument about it and it is great if indeed GC has done that for you but that has NOT been my experience with GC. I have returned a lot of things to GC including several guitars and they have NEVER offered to send anything out without first receiving the original product back. I have asked and have always been told they couldn't do that.

Who said we are arguing?? it's a matter of opinion..We are talking about a GDEC-3 here and you bring up a guitar, I mentioned my experience wish Sweetwater and believe me they are jerks..

As far as GC not doing it for you maybe you should ask, and get a local store..my is 100 miles away and I call them and deal with them just like Sweetwater.

Sweetwater lies and just look at the ripoff report and you will see all of their complaints..

The sales engineer that I talked to at Sweetwater said they were no longer available from Fender. Also the local music store says the same thing. They only had a couple of 15s left.

You may have misunderstood them, they were out of stock and got more in, I just received mine two days ago, Gdec 3-30. Dustin Keesbury is my sales associate and has always been above board with me. I will buy from anyone who has the product in stock or who may be offering same as cash funding, so I may use my local guitar shop, GC or Sweetwater, whoever has the appropriate deal, thats the beauty of competition in this country. So far I haven't been burnt by any of them!

Thanks for your post! Are you happy with yours so far? Kind of torn between G-dec and the Mustang II. But I hear that the G-Dec is a lot of fun.

I had the Mustang II and for some reason I hated it, couldn't get rid of it fast enough, now thats just my opinion, I know there is a lot of love for the Mustang series but for practice and developing chops I have to say that the Gdec is the way to go. Not sure if I would gig with it, I have an Ampeg Reverberocket for medium to large gigs and a Blues Junior for small gigs so th Gdec fits perfectly for rehearsal and personal practice, so much more versatile with so many tools.
