I've noticed on a few national online retailers that G-DEC 3 30 says "no longer available" What's up with that? Seems that everytime I buy something from Fender, the next year, they either discontinue, change, or quit making my gear, and I end up with the old model. :(

How about some links?

Can't think of any retailers larger than Guitar Center/Musician's Friend and it is available at both of those...

That's good man, I just did a Google, and it says no longer available. I'll check with my Sweetwater sales engineer. I also saw another thread on this website about the same subject, and Fender said the 3 30 is not going away. When the price starts dropping, it makes you wonder.

Could simply be that Sweetwater doesn't have any currently in stock. They tend to ONLY show what they have in stock rather than most places that show everything they carry even if they don't have any in stock.

I think you are reading too much into it. Loren has said before that these are not being discontinued...

The price has gone down at Musician's Friend, but it's still available. This may be nothing more than a blip in a challenging market -- or it may be the beginning of the end for what has been, for me, a fun tool.

Figures. About half a year after I got my Princeton Recording Amp, that amp hit the skids, too.

I think the price drops are more than likely due to the upcoming holiday season. Black Friday and Cyber Monday will definitely be the big days but retailers have been advertising sales since October. Things are tough and I just think they are trying to spur sales early going into the holidays...

Loren has already stated the G-Dec 3 30 is not going anywhere.

My GM at my Guitar Center told me they are no longer available and he is out and that normally means they are coming out with a new model or its going to be discontinued.

Hell I just mine in August that sucks

Let's see... a hot selling amp...Christmastime...limited quantities...oh yeah, I'm sure the only possible answer is that they're discontinued. </sarcasm>

I'll believe they're discontinued when Fender says they're discontinued.

Reduced the price? The street price of the 30 is $300. Let's pop over to Musician's Friend, and take a quick look at price and availability. Here's my screenshot:

So, the price is the same as it has always been, (sorry, I don't believe these are on "sale") and all of these are in stock. I just think it's a little premature to pronounce the amps EOL. (end of life)
