Just got a G-Dec 3 Thirty. The instructions are not very clear. I don't want to erase the Country presets and backing tracks that are on the G-dec 3 now.

I want to download the Blues on a SD card and access them from it when needed. Can I insert one into the SD slot and download from the computer to it or do I have to have a SD card read/write device attached to my computer?

Where do I get the Downloads for the different genres?

Can I store presets and backing tracks on Fuse/computer and play them from the PC?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I may be incorrect, but I think I have done this: You can install band tracks and presets one by one. You just have to know which ones on the Country list you don't want and save them over them.

I would suggest loading the Blues edition and determining the ones you like then reinstall the Country edition and then search for the band tracks and presets you want on the G-DEC/Fuse website: https://fuse.fender.com/.

For whatever reason, the band tracks are on the Fuse site, and to find the presets you click on the G-DEC button.

As for the procedure, I think you'd have to check the Advanced Owners Manual.

Hi Guys,

The Fender G-DEC 3 can only have any one complete set of data installed at one time. That is to say, the complete Blues or Country, Metal or Original Pack. However, you can also (as surfaday mentioned) load one pack in it's entirely, then go back and select some specific Presets/Band Tracks that you like from another pack and replace some of the currently loaded Presets/Band Tracks with some of the data from the alternate Pack. If you would like additional assistance with this, please let us know.

Best Regards,
