Tonight I downloaded a few presets from the G-DEC website, both Fender presets and user-uploaded presets onto an SD card.

I want to play the new preset with an onboard band track.

I turn the big knob until I get to the slot with the band track I want to play along with, (but want to use the SD preset with).

With my SD card already inserted, I press the "Exit" button until the utility menu comes up. I arrow over until I see the "Import" selection, then I turn the big knob until the preset I want to use comes up.

I can play from this point, the preset works, but when I exit to the main menu, I get the message, "Band Missing". Pressing start now results in no band track.

The preset still has the right effects though.

If I turn the big knob, one click, then back, the band is back, but of course, the preset from the SD card is gone.

If I save it, the band track is gone but the preset is saved.

Restoring presets sets everything straight, and even the band track is restored.

Strange? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

When you have the preset you want, go to the band button and select the track you want from the sd card or hd, then save. That should link the band to your preset.
