Just got a new GDEC 3 Fifteen. Love it but having trouble with the USB connection mode.

I tried searching for other threads addressing this but didn't have much luck with a solution. When trying to connect my new GDEC 3 15 to my Macbook, FUSE doesn't see the amp and it won't show up as a external disk in the USB mode.

I've tried reinstalling FUSE and the drivers multiple times. I tried connecting it to my PC running Windows XP and it saw it as a USB device (I didn't install FUSE or the drivers on my PC, but it definitely saw it).

Anyhow, I'm running an Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook with OSX 10.5.8. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Hey jsloan53,

Are you able to see the G-DEC 3 as an audio device in the Sound System Preferences pane? Even with no drivers installed, you should at least be able to use it as an audio device? If you can see it there, you may have a driver issue.

No, I can't see it as an option in the audio preferences section. I also tried an older version of FUSE/drivers with no luck. Should I reset the GDEC 3 to factory settings?

I also tried putting Fuse 2.2.2 on my PC running Windows XP SP3. It sees the GDEC 3 but I get the "Unknown USB device" message.

Do I just have a bad unit? I'd think that the USB port was either good or bad. I didn't think there was an in between...
