If I get a "powered Speaker" and connect thru the line out in the back of the Gdec3 30, will I get a significant improvement of sound ? Please excuse this if this is a dumb question, but I am tired of buying things and being dissapointed in results ( not for Fender, just in General ).

I am a Novice at all this and have no experience.

In the past, people have recommended Scumbuckers and other speakers, but I want to buy an external speaker. I don't want to replace the Gdec's internal speaker.

Can anyone tell me your experiences if you tried this ?

Thanks

You can do it and it works. Results will vary depending on the size & number of speakers in the enclosure, as well as the wattage of the amp in the speaker system. :)

We use powered speakers with our mixer/recorder with good results!

Thanks for the reply...

So for now, I am playing in the home. I don't need loud speakers, but I would like quality.. Can you make a recommendation for a brand that is not real Expensive but has good sound quality ?

We've had good success with KRK powered speakers. They're reasonable and sound good.

Good luck! :)

I run my G-DEC 3 Thirty in to a Tech 21 Power Engine 60 with great results. I would highly recommend this.

A guitar amp with an effects loop works good also. Line out into effects return on the other amp.
