I ran a cord from the headphone/line out jack of my G-DEC® 3 Fifteen to the input jack of my guitar tube amp. The signal gets through fine, and the G-DEC presets sound good through my amp's two 12" speakers. However, if I turn the volume control on the tube amp up past about 2, a loud hum results, and the higher the volume level, the louder the hum.

Is this hum fixable with a better-shielded cable? Or is the problem some sort of impedance mis-match between the output of the G-DEC® 3 Fifteen and the input of my tube amp?

Thanks for any insight on this!

Problem solved by putting a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter on the G-DEC® 3 Fifteen power plug. Got great expert help here:
