Okay, I've got FUSE running fine, I've got my G-DEC 3 Thirty (converted to Blues Edition) synced to the computer and FUSE. I have my own new Band Tracks on the SD card and the SD card is in the amp. I pull up a new Band Track and load it and save it to a preset, say 24 - James Burton. I set the new Band Track to repeat, save it again. It plays perfectly, stays where it's supposed to be.

Then I eject the SD card, power the amp back up and my newly saved Band Track is now MISSING. How do I save my new Band Track so that it is on my amp permanently? The old Band Track is gone, so why isn't my new one there in its place? If I put the SD card back in, the new Band Track is right there on Preset 24.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

You can save it to the hard drive on the amp if you really want, but the sd card is the way to go to have unlimited tracks you can refer to whenever you need to in QA mode. Right now the presets are referencing the track on the sd card, that's why it's gone when you take it out.

I'd really like to configure the amp with my Band Tracks on the amp's hard drive. Most of the time I am using other backing tracks on other SD cards when I'm using the G-DEC, so don't want to keep track and switch, etc. I'd just like the amp to be exactly as I want it to be.

So how to get my Band Tracks on the amp's hard drive? Can't seem to make it work...

Thanks!

You can do this through USB mode.
Hold down the exit button until you get to Utilty mode.

Once there, press the left soft key twice and USB mode should come up.

Press either of the center soft keys and it will take you to USB mode where you can access the Amp HD like an external hd through your computer.

Find the Audio folder, that's where the tracks are stored. You could probably add tracks there, but the amp memory is pretty small.

I recommend you delete the ones you don't want(you may want to save them first for future reference in case you change you mind), then copy and paste the new tracks to that forlder. Now when you go to a preset, find the track you want and assign it to the preset.

Thanks, Joe. Mission accomplished. Simplicity itself. I should have thought of that. Slap. I should have thought of that.

Sweet! It does take a while to figure out this little amp. But in the end it's well worth it.

Yes, thanks again, Joe! I deleted about 30 of the band tracks that I knew I would never use or play along with and stuck in about 20 of my own, then swapped them around into various presets. Now I have a whole slug of nice band tracks to jam with and I'm working on a few more. One more slap and then back to jamming!

Try this. In the band track dialoque box in fuse, there is a check box that says "Cancel center channel". On some songs it takes out the lead guitar part.
