It seems when I power-up the DEC30 W with the footswitch plugged-in, it does not automatically power. I returned an amp yesterday, because I could not get the ULT-4 to power-up at all.

It's happening again with my replacement model. However, if I unplug the cable at the footswitch connection (not the amp rear jack) I can get it to power-up.

Is this glitch happening to anyone else? I know the footswitch itself works because I took it with me and plugged-it-in to other GDECs with no problem.

Love the amp though...

I have seen a G-DEC 3 that had an issue with the footswitch jack. Yours can be tested. Do you have access to a multimeter? There should be 3.3V coming out of that jack.
