hello everyone..
I am very happy to be here amongst all you fine folks using these ingenious amps ..
There is a lot of software stuff to sort out for sure.. Thank God you are all here to lean a hand to a new user of the wonderful G Dec 30.

Okey I purchased this amp as a practice tool but saw that the tones were not rinky dink at all :) and could may well be used on stage as well... Well I am off on a 120 show summer tour of clubs and resorts in the Med and I really dont want to lug my stereo twin 4X12 cabs and 200lb rack...

So I'm getting the hang of the G-dec as a performance amp..

I bought the foot pedal "again ingenious" how they can send so much varied information over a regular guitar jack is beyond me!

anyway here is my first dumb question... please help me figure this out...

I have made a 3 presets to use in the "quick access" Qa1, Qa2, and Qa 3 positions of the foot switch... but my clean tone is louder than my distortion tone...

where is the "patch volume" per patch so I can have the patch memorize what volume it should be when I recall that patch?

Yes I did turn up the amp volume on the amp section of the patch...

what else can I turn up "on that patch" that can make it louder than my clean tone?

So where is the overall "patch volume" for each patch? How do I adjust that?

thank you in advance friends.. great that you are there to help..
Much appreciated..
warmest regards
Awesome John

Push the soft key under "amp" and the first setting should be the volume. Adjust it, then press the save key (it will turn red after you change the volume setting) and re-save the preset.

I tried that Dave as I mentioned in my first post...

I have the amp volume turned up full on the distortion channel yet the clean tone is still louder.. Im really perplexed by this...

what to do?

I agree with Dave, since that isn't working for you, then lower the volume setting on the preset a bit to bring in closer to another preset volume. I had to do that on alot of the presets to balance them out with each other. Pick one as a reference, then adjust, save and compare, tweak again if necessary. In fuse, it's the volume, on the amp it's the volume setting you get when you pres the amp button on the amp. The volume knob on the amp itself is not the one for that. Hope that helps

Yes thats the "only" solution Joe..

Well I think that is Fender monitors these forums then they should make a note the in the next software update that they should include a dedicated "patch volume" that just adjusts the volume "per patch" so we can balance out the entire amp without going nuts and re-referencing every patch in the amp to one preset .. thats a very incorrect way to do it.. there should be another "volume per patch" setting within each patch..

Update time dear friends at Fender .. update time...

What would be even better would be an Auto Leveler that samples the patches and levels them automatically. Not sure if it's possible, but in theory it should be. :)

Your suggestions have definitely been noted, Guys.

Another workaround would be to use the Compressor in the FUSE Advanced Amp Settings. This can be used to increase volume.
