Other than speaker size and wattage, is there any difference between the 15 and 30 watt versions of this latest G-dec amp? As in, do they both have the same presets, storage for presets and jam tracks, etc? I think the 30 watt amp is more than I need, but I don't want to get the 15 if it is a limited version of the latter.

So put differently, is the 15 watt G-dec 3 just a smaller, lesser powered version of the 30 watt?

thanks,
Seng-ge Dorje

The 30 has a line out in the back, which to me is the deal breaker. Just send it to the pa and you have all the watts you want. Also the 30 has a tweater and sounds better with the backing tracks. It also has a 10" vs 8" on the 15. I use mine as a stage monitor. I don't think the 15 would work there.

Thanks for the response/advice. I'll have to keep my eye open for a good deal on a 30 watt model.

The 30 just has everything you will ever need. You can stereo out to one or two other amps/PAs and still have the GDEC 3 making sound as well. Love it.
