My Computer shows that I have a .wav file stored on my SD card, but how do I access it from my G-Dec3-15? I have scrolled through Utilities, but see no mention of it anywhere.
Please help.

Secondly. I'm not sure what the USB connection is on the amp. When I press it the computer and amp show "Updating Files, Please Wait", and that goes on and on forever.

Hi starboy,

The easiest way to access audio files on your SD card is to use Quick Access. This button is located on the left side of the display in the circle of buttons. Once you press this button, you should look for SD - Wav in the display (continue clicking Quick Access button to move from HD content to SD content). Once you locate this, look for your particular file and press the Start/Stop button. Also you will want to make sure that all audio files are in the Audio folder on your SD card.

Regarding USB Drive mode, it is normal to see the "Updating Files, Please Wait" message. This mode is designed for direct computer access to the amp's hard drive & the SD card files. You can see these in Computer on Windows and via the desktop on Mac. This is useful if you want to move a group of Presets/audio files to/from either location at one time.

Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Thank you Fender Guy. It wasn't clear to me that the quick access was needed for this. I assumed I just had to go the Utilities/memory/SD.
A steep learning curve for this old analogue guy where each knob had a specific function with settings all marked out.

Hi starboy,

You are very welcome. There is a learning curve with a product of this type. This is particularly true if one is new to digital products. But it is because the amp does so much. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,
