I noticed, after I installed country version to G-dec, some band tracks are not exactly same version as tracks downloaded earlier from here.
For example Texas Shuffle and Bo Didley tracks are more "bold" when I play them from sd card.
...if someone wants to have more good sounding tracks to play with....

Hi tjj2000,

I assume that you mean louder by "more bold"? However, the data should be exactly the same regardless of the location. There is not a Volume control for example within a Preset. So, the sound should be the same.

Best Regards,

Hello!

I listened again texas_blues_shuffle.waw file from sd card (I have downloaded it from here last autumn) and from country version.
There is difference between the sound. You have more bass sound with sd card waw; this is what I mean more bold. The music is also little louder from sd, but even I put backgrounds to the same volume level, there is still difference with the sound.

This is not a "big" issue; just noticed it. Or is there something wrong with my amplifier?

Best Regards you too :)

Hi tjj2000,

Thanks for giving some detail on this. I have done some basic A-B testing here in the TSL. And I have spoken with the lead engineer who worked on the Fender G-DEC 3 series amps. The signal path for both the internal solid state drive and SD card is the same.

So, theoretically the wav file should play back the same on each drive/location. But it is interesting that it appears to be slightly different from one to the next. Thanks again for taking the time to follow up.

Best Regards,
