Is there a way to restore just one band track that has disappeared or do I have to reset the entire menu from the disc losing the changes I have made to many of the tracks?

If some one could email me the band track at 00 as an MP3, that's all I need and would really appreciate it.

Give me your email and it will be a pleasure to send it to you...but if tou have the CD provided with the amp, you can find it there.

You can also download the G-DEC 3 factory Band Tracks and Presets from the FUSE Community.

Thanks, PM sent.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to replace just one bandtrack. I don't want to lose the changes I've made to other bandtracks and presets by reinstalling the Fender default entire program.

Can I do just one, or do I have to start back at ground zero? I just want the band track and preset for setting 00.

I'll admit I'm an old man and am intimidated by all of this technology. If you could walk me trough it in Layman's terms it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that you really lost the track or did you simply lose the connection between preset 00 and the track?

If you have the fuse software loaded, you can go into the media library, select the amp tab, and scroll through the list of band tracks in the lower section of the window. It looks like preset 00's track is "John 5 Impalement 3". Look to see if that track is still in the list (unless you took extra pains to delete it, it is probably still there).

if it is not, you will need to download it from the fuse library. This can be done from inside the fuse program. You will have to log into the fuse community, then go to the media library and select the "web" tab. From there you can right click on a band track and transfer it to your computer, then to the amp.

if the track is still on your amp, then you can either reload preset 00 (J5 tele dirty) from the copy on the fuse site or from the saved preset on the DVD that came with your amp, or you can just change the band track setting of that preset to "John 5 Impalement 3" and re-save it on the amp.

The details for doing this are in the advanced user manual for the gdec3 (in the manuals section of the fender website).

good luck,
Dave

Thank you Dave. Actually on my G-DEC 00 was a country shuffle, blackface clean
