Gerry,

The easiest way is to press and hold the "utility" button on the front of the amp (under the dial). Once you're in the utility menu, use the left or right buttons to get to the "USB DRIVE" menu. Press either of the two middle buttons under the display. Then connect your usb cable to your computer. You should be able to access the SD card as a drive from the computer. Look for the audio folder and drop your track (mp3 or wav) in there. Then you exit from "USB DRIVE" mode from the front panel of the amp.

This can also be done with FUSE, but I find the direct method is easiest and fastest (especially if you have more than one track to move).

Once you've put tracks on the SD card, you can associate them with presets (either using FUSE or using the menus) or just play them from the "Quick Access" menu.

Hope this helps.

Dave

Thanks Dave.

But where do I store the tracks from the CD (from a guitar lesson book) before I move them to the SD card?

thanks again
Gerry

Gerry,

You need to get them onto your computer's hard drive, usually as an MP3 file. The easiest way to do that is to use windows media player, although there are lots of other programs that can do it as well. This is the process that is often called "ripping".

Once you have an mp3 or wav format file in a folder on your computer, you can copy it to your amp.
