It would be extremely nice, if Fender would provide a way to update the original G-DEC 3-Thirty firmware to either the BLUES or COUNTRY or METAL firmware that is coming out in the NEW version of the G-DEC 3-THIRTY FSR ( Factory Special Run ) MODELS. I would hope this has been thought of already, because there are probably a lot of G-DEC 3 Thirty owners that would like to do this, for whatever reason.
Thanks

Would be very nice!
We want it, please.
Better yet might be a zip file with all the tracks and presets in it. One for blues, one for country etc.

You know I'm thinkin' maybe they'll do that somewhere down the road... but for now it would kind of defeat the whole purpose for making the special edition amps. Wouldn't it?

Greg; Are you thinking Fender will hold it back so that current owners will go out and buy Special Edition?

I don't know if they think that current owners will go out and buy the Special Edition version.
But I'd be willin' to bet they don't open those tracks up to free download... for awhile anyway.

Of course after the amps are out, I'm sure some of the guys who bought them will probably make the tracks available somewhere.

It won't be firmware, but I suspect that the presets and tracks that are different from those already on the original G-DEC 3s will be available for download on FUSE. Probably not as a zip file, though, unless Fender really wants to be nice to us! (hint hint) :)

Hopefully Fender will make this happen. I wanted a Country version but couldn't wait. I am very happy with the standard but would be even happier with the option to turn it into one of the special versions through software.

I would like to thank the people of Fender for answering my request. I really appreciate it and plan to use it on my G-DEC-3 Thirty soon.

Just upgraded my box to the country version.

Really easy procedure and a awesome sounding amp now.
Thanks very much for the quick release.

Thanks to the folks at Fender for making the custom content available; can't wait to transform mine into the Blues version! You've saved me from yet another Craigslist experience...

That's the kind of service that earns loyalty.

Rick
