I received a G DEC 30 for Xmas, and cannot figure out how to access presets on the SD card. I exported all the amp. HD presets to the SD card, so I could modify them on the SD card, and just work with those, and not mess with the pre loaded presets on the amp HD. Cannot figure out how to access the SD card presets from the amp controls.

Hi Graham,

There's seems to be a bit of confusion. There are 100 Preset slots on the amplifier. To edit a Preset on the amp alone, you must replace one of those. Putting them on an SD card only makes things more complicated and you'll still have to import them into one of the 100 slots to do anything with them. 99.9% of the time, the SD card is used for Band Tracks only.

If you'd like to, you can access SD card Presets using the import function in the utility menu on the amp.

I am having trouble trying to access the presets on my SD Card. How do I got to that import function? I bought mine as it was billed to have unlimited sounds when using the SD card, so is it accurate that there is no way to get to the SD Card content using the dial? Mainly, am I not really able to switch from one saved pre-set to another unless I load them into the 100 presets that are accessible by the silver dial? Is that clear as mud?
Thanks,
Greg

You can go into Quick Access mode and call up any Midi, Wav or MP3 file, but for presets, you either have to dial them in on the fly with FUSE and the amp connected to a computer, or save them to one of the 100 slots on the amp first.
