Bummer. If I'd known that this was coming I wouldnt have bought a Mustang 1.

Obviously amps are becoming like mobile phones - disposable and out of date before you buy them.

Just download some of the blues sounding tracks from the Fender Fuse website and play them on your ipod via the Aux port on the Mustang or play them on your laptop connected via USB to the Mustang. I think that should give you a similar experience... (Note you will need to loop some tracks as they are only a few seconds).

Then all you are missing is the acoustic models (which are BAD on the GDEC due to the volume issue) and the looper/sampler (which is cool but can be achieved via a connected laptop on the mustangs).

I'm the other way... I have a GDEC-3, but the new Mustang III with the LCD screen for modifing effects and has knobs for bass/mid/treble/gain/reverb which I really miss on the GDEC-3.
