You have to make sure that you have the mem lock turned off in the utility menu before you can save anything to the internal memory or the SD card.

You don't need to put a preset onto the SD card in order to use it on the amp. You can try it out by using the fuse software. Then, if you like it, you can tell Fuse to load it into one of the 100 presets.

You could go into the utility menu, select the USB DRIVE setting and press the enter softkey. Then use windows explorer to open the SD card and go to the preset folder, drop your preset file in there, and then use the utility menu "import" command, but to me that is more work than using fuse.

I do not know if this posted some place else, but since the topic was SD card i thought i would ask.

Can you play band tracks off the SD card or do you have to import them into the amp?

Thanks for any help

Yes, you can play band tracks off the SD card. Press Quick Access, and you can scroll through any band tracks on your HD or SD card. I do it all the time!

Wecome to the Fender forums, bmark1959.

The main purpose of the SD card is Band Track storage. The amp ships full of Band Tracks on the internal memory so an SD card is the only way to add more without deleting some off of the amp.
