2nd try from a newbie to G-DEC 3 30 - I copied a WAV file to my SD card, but cannot
figure out how to play it. I set up a new preset and listed the SD WAV file as the band tract, but when I SAVE and then press Start, nothing happens. Any help appreciated.

Hey Mitch,

Welcome to the Fender forums. Is the WAV file located in the Audio folder on the SD card? It also must be a 16bit/44.1k WAV file. Are you able to play any other Band Tracks?

Tnx, Loren. Finaaly figured out how to accomplish that, thru the updated Fuse software.
Now if only Fuse didn't lock up ("updating files - please wait") in an endless loop when I
go to the USB position in the Utility menu on the G-DEC. I've read the other posts on that and tried uninstalling Silverlight & NET, changing DPI back to default 96, etc. So far, nothing has worked. Fuse runs fine, tho, if I stay away from USB in Utility menu.

Glad you got it working Mitch. Regarding the "Updating Files" message, that sounds like normal behavior.

When you enter USB Drive Mode on the amp, the amp, at that point is functioning as a common USB storage device and allows it's internal memory and any inserted SD card to mount on the computer as such.
During that time, you won't have access to any of the amp's functions, because it's memory (storage) is being used by the computer. It's the equivalent of connecting a Hard Drive to 2 computers at once, you can't do it. Since FUSE can't function independently of the amp when the amp is connected, FUSE will display that message until the amp is free.

I hope that helps.
