I just got this amp to upgrade from a G-DEC Junior. I like the fact the the Junior allows me to play along with various percussion loops and adjust the tempos. Can I do this with the installed presets (eg. mute the band and only have drums which I then can adjust the tempos)?

If not, how do I play listen to the percussion midi files on the DVD?

You can copy them to the midi folder inside the Audio folder

OK. I transferred them all to Audio file in my lap top. After connecting to AMP, I launched Fuse. I then went to Band, Midi, selected one and transferred it to AMP. I then previewed it and it played over the amp. Apparently it is now stored in the amp. I wish Fender had just loaded these into the amp at the factory. It's pretty cumbersome to have to individually transfer these. If there's a way for me to mass transfer the entire Drum Measures midi file please let me know. Thanks for the guidance.

There is...using Utility Mode. But what I do is place the sd card in a reader, then copy and paste to the appropriate folder from the computer to the sd card. For you that would be the Audio folder/ Midi. I find that to be faster than Utility Mode. If you can get Utility Mode to work for you, it brings up the Gdec on your computer like another hard drive that you can copy and paste directly with the Gdec, but I have problems with mine (probably due to older laptop). Hope that helps. Don't forget to take a break from fighting your way through the tech stuff and just have some fun with the amp for a while.

Hi All,

You can find the MIDI files from the older Fender G-DEC 30 here: http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... midi-files
Once you download them, unzip the files. Then you will want to place them on the amp's hard drive or an SD card. The easiest way to do this is to mount the amp in USB Drive mode.

To do this, go to the Utility Menu (press and hold the Exit button for 2-3 seconds). Once there, arrow (2) to the left. Press either of the 2 center soft keys to enter USB Drive mode. Once there, you can access the Audio and MIDI folders on either the amp's had drive or on the SD card by going to Computer/My Computer (or the desktop on Mac).

Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,
