I just got the G-Dec 15 for Christmas and I'm loving it so far. I'm really amazed at how awesome the backing tracks are.

Anyway I have one question:

How do I move a preset and the backing track? I want to move all my favorites to the start of the chain. So let's say I want to move #63 which is the ManchesterEcho Preset along with Tony Franklin in A backing track(which is one of my fav tracks, absolutely brilliant!) to #1 without overwriting anything(there must be a switch option or something right?)?

All help greatly appreciated!

I believe you overwrite the old preset, but the old track stays. You can then go to band track and change it to the one you want. The tracks don't get deleted, they stay in the database.

ok I found a way if anyone is interested in doing the same:

Export all the presets to your SD card and then import to your desired location. So lets say I want to put #60 at #1 I just import that preset at 1# and import the old preset that was at number 1 at #60 to make sure I don't have two of the same presets going on.

The only downside to this is that for some reason Fuse doesn't recognize the old presets after importing from the SD card, even though they still bear the same name in the amp, Fuse renames all the imports as New Preset which is really stupid especially because Fuse doesnt let me change the name.

So please look into this for next update Fender. A swapping/switching option would be really great for easy moving of presets!

Hi hendrik84,

I'm glad you are enjoying your new Fender G-DEC 3! We appreciate your feedback regarding the SD card & import behavior with regard to Fender FUSE. We will get this information to our software developers when they return on Monday, and check into it.

Thanks much. And Happy New Year.

Best Regards,
