Heya.

I was browsing through my presets on my amp when suddenly I lost all of my backing tracks stored on the amps HD. The SD card was unharmed and my presets are still there but all of the loops and tracks are gone.

When I open up the amps HD on my computer (Utility --> USB Drive), I see only 2 files with ascii pictures as their names: a cross and a box with a white circle in it.

The amp says (in the utility menu) that the amp has about 6 megs of free space, same as before this happened. The amp has firmware version 1.02.

Halp?

-Ben

Edit: Forgot to add that it's a G-DEC 3 Thirty

The latest firmware is 1.04, not that I have high hopes of that fixing the issue.
If your amp still responds to getting a firmware update you need to do it anyhow before contacting support, as that will be the first thing they'll ask you to do.

Good luck :)

Hey Ben,

I'm sorry you're experiencing that issue. There is a G-DEC Restore folder on the DVD. Inside you'll find a G-DEC 3 Restore.img file and a G-DEC 3 Media.bin file. Place those files on the root of your SD card. Then you'll want to reboot the amp with the SD card in it. You'll be prompted to press Start to restore the media. It'll take about ten minutes but when it's done all the factory Band Tracks will be restored. You should definitely update the firmware either before or after you perform the restrore. Let me know if you have any questions.

Did it and fixed it, thanks for the help.
Any idea on how and why did it get corrupted like that? Also, in case I loose my disc, can I download the files from somewhere or should I make a backup out of it?
