Gentlemen, let me say that idea with G-Dec 3 is really great. Really happy to be the owner of one of it.

Thousands of options and adjustments and infinite possibilities for amazing guitar sound creation. Sure it’s benefit but from the other side it’s a problem as user have to be very experienced in sound creation to adjust the sound he likes. I do believe that a lot of professionals use this Amp and it’s not a problem to them but same time there are a lot of guitar amateur for whom guitar is just a hobby. And who are not so experienced in sound creation.

This people come to community to read, learn and create but unfortunately here is minimum info about it. I visit community for half a year and found only couples of themes around sound but even them are really short and finished with suggestion to try by our own. All other topics are just about problems solving and absolutely nothing around sound creation.

I do believe that much more users will join this community in case we could find here some basic info about s sound creation and also some best practices or short muster classes.

There is no need to create a big books or guides with pictures and so on, it’s enough to create new themes and put regular short topics about basics of creation of that sound or another.

As an example: Topic name ( taking Rock sound) and then steps with explanation. Step 1: chose this Amp because…… Step 2: put this settings because………. Step 3: Use this effects because ……..
In that case it will be easy to understand how it works and adjust perfect personal sound.

That will allow users to use G-Dec fully and create , connect and configure. And have real fun.

Otherwise for those whose G-Dec works fine there is no reason to visit community as no useful information, may be just to check for new software version.

Sorry for long topic and if I’m wrong in understanding of community goals.

Regards,
Pavel

Hi, I'm also a brand new user (2-3 days).

It surely would be interesting to read more about sound creation, but I'm not too sure how exactly that could/would be laid out in simple terms.
I'm a complete newbie in both music and sound, but I have a feeling that experienced musicians are - well, experienced. Meaning that it's probably not an exact science to produce a specific sound, but that the explanation from someone experienced would be more like this:

"I wanted to have a sound such as in the song X.. So I went through the amps to find one that resembles the 'classic Y' amp, and found the amp Z1 and Z2 that came pretty close.. I decided to go with Z2 because it was slightly warmer, and also because it seemed that I could adjust the reverb to match the sound more that I was after..
I played the song X a bit and realized that it lacked a bit of "attack", so I added a compressor pedal to...."

This gave me an idea for FUSE though.. Maybe there should be an info-window that tells a bit about the amp being modeled.. it's philosophy and in what type of music such an amp is usually being used..
I might be mistaken that there is already such a thing, but if not, it'd be nice. :)
