There seems to be a huge disparity between the output volumes of the Acoustic presets in comparison to the more electric oriented sounds.

So much so that it requires me to adjust all the amplifier settings, both band level and volume.

It is practically impossible to switch from an acoustic to any other sound and maintain any semblance of usability.

Please advise if this is a recognised issue or whether my situation is unique.

Example: Sahanas Nylon preset 52 is ridiculously soft compared to Kollman Lead 2 despite being on maximum volume in the preset window.

I noticed this too, but I was thinking they are designed for an actual Acoustic guitar with a piezo pickup?

Anyone else know?

Thanks for the input...to be honest, no...however the volume is set to maximum as a default so I'm not sure it would make a difference...

I've noticed this too.. From being loud to no sound at all, switching between amps.

How about this idea...use the volume of the accoustic amp as your reference level. Lower the others to come close to the accoustic amp, then you just adjust the volume knob on the amp itself to give you more overall volume. Try it with a couple of presets and see how it works.

That's a very practical idea, :thumbsup ,

A little time consuming if you use a lot of the presets...but I actually only use a few for the most part...so I'll give it a lash.

Cheers

Hmmm....I just tried your suggestion with Kollman2 preset no 62..much to my dismay the main volume control using the fuse interface actually did nothing..the volume is the same regardless of whether I set it to 0 or 10...absoloutley no change in output volume.

This seems to be major bug in the software, unless it is just peculiar to my specific setup?

Could someone else please try and adjust the volume parametre on their preset number 62 to verify>

Also, does anyone from fender actually reply to these threads or am I wasting my time...( no offense to the other posters who are offering suggestions)

Yep, that's the obvious solution, unless a fix adjusts the levels for us. :)

I gave it a try and it works... :)

As a temporary work-around it's fine...but it does lower the output volume significantly...you really have to crank up the Amp Master to get a useable output...and far too fiddely to do across the board on all presets.

But for flicking between preset 52 (Sahnas Nylon) and 62 (Kollman Lead2) it is ok.

For the record Sahnas Nylon (the acoustic emulator) volume is set to 10 and the Kollman lead2 is set to 2...it also significantly changes the mix setting for the play along tracks, obviously.

I wonder if this could be fixed easily in a firmware update?

I would surely hope so, but Fender hasn't even acknowledged this problem or thread
