First of all is the included Amplitube Fender only a 10 trial version ? I can't seem to find a serialnumber that Amplitube requires to keep the program running beyond 10 days ?

Second, do I have to have a StealthPlug to be able to play through my PC ?

Third, has anybody actually tried out the Fender version and how does it sound? I have the "normal" Amplitube version installed on my Ipad and to be honest to my ears that one sounds terrible

There should have been a card in your manual packet that had a serial number for Amplitube, and another for Ableton. If not contact Fender Customer Service by phone and they will be glad to get a number for you!

You're welcome!

I forgot to mention that you use your G-DEC 3 as your interface for Amplitube.

The cable is a Mini USB to USB. The big end goes into any USB port on your computer. The small end goes into your amp. Make sure you install the Fender Universal ASIO first. All should be good after that.

Hey Guys,

Here is a KB article covering setup of AmpliTube and Ableton with a Mustang amp. The instruction are exactly the same except you will select the G-DEC 3 as both the input and output source.
http://fender.com/support/article.php?kb_id=151

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Loren

Hey Guys,
I use a fender mustang 1 and I figured out how to get the keys to ableton and amplitube!!!
If you have internet on the computer it's pretty simple.
First, register you amp on Fender.com, and when you enter the serial number of your amp, it will give you the serial numbers of ableton and amplitube.
All you have to do after that is, after you installed the program, open for instance amplitube, then click register online. In your browser, it will give you a place to enter your serial number then it will give you an ID code. Note it. Then it will give you a place to enter both keys. It will give you an Authorization Key. Go back to Amplitube and enter the Authorization key. This works on Ableton too.
Let me know if this works, because when I authorized amplitube I still only got three amps, one pedal, and no rack equipment???

Let me know if this works!!

Let me know if you need offline instructions!

Thanks,
Josiah
