Hello,
I just received a fifteen gdec. How do I get the amp to play drum tracks only?
No band. Just drums.
Thanks in advance,
Kristen

On the CD that comes with the GDEC3 there are a bunch of MIDI drum tracks.

Otherwise just google for MIDI drums tracks and then copy those MIDI files to your GDEC. Or goodle for mp3 drum tracks..

Also check out itunes for pro level drum backing tracks.

So yes.

Hi Kristen,

You can download some MIDI drum tracks at the link below.
http://fender.com/support/article.php?kb_id=83

The best way to get them onto your amp is to transfer them to the MIDI folder on your SD card first.

Loren

Hi duncane,

thx for the tip! To bad I'm not able to copy those files from the dvd on different PC's as I'm becomming an error message (something about an MS-DOS error?!). Seems there is something wrong with the dvd.

Could you be so kind and email them to me? Since there are over 200 files it would be best to put them into a zip arcive.

noidea(AT)unitybox.de

Thanks in advance.

PS. perhaps Fender can upload the files as they have done with the old G-DEC midi files?

sorry duncane, but those are not the same files that are on the dvd that came with the amp (under "\MIDI files\Drum Measures"). The files you'll find on that link are the midi's that came with the old g-decs (I have them already).

So we are talking about different things.
Perhaps they are not as useable as we would like them to be but since I can't open them, how do I know...

@SaimOn67,

I have sent you the ones from the GDEC 3 CD. The ones in the download look better anyway, but I havent tried either. I prefer MP3 or WAV tracks anyway.

Thank you so much duncane! Some files are exactly what I was looking for (Trouble_2.mid for instance). Since I'm in the office now, I'll have to wait some more hours to try them on my g-dec

So looks like I have a faulty dvd...
