When I try to connect G-DEC 3 to Fender Fuse I get the dreaded USB device not recognized. It has worked once, so I am baffled as to why no go now.

I have unplugged computer over night, rebooted, same sad song.

I click the error message and have "unknown device" in the listed ports, it shows no driver installed for this device.

I guess I need a driver...if I only new how to get it. I have downloaded Fender Universal ASIO.

Enlighten me PLEASE!!!

Hi lyfestyl,

Welcome to the Fender forums. Are you running Fender FUSE 2.0.1? That definitely sounds like the drivers aren't loading. I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall Fender FUSE. That most likely will fix the problem.
What are your system specs?

Loren

Did you try that driver package that I sent you?

Until you get the proper device drivers installed on your PC you'll have the same problem.
Definitely need to get Fender Support to help.

This just happened to me...everything was working fine yesterday, now Fuse doesn't recognize the amp (MIII) when I plug it in via USB...I get the "USB Device Not Recognized" message. I tried to install the drivers directly, and that operation failed.

I am running Vista Home Premium SP2, Intel Core2 Duo 2GHz, 4GB RAM...can anyone help? Loren? Thanks in advance...

Installing the drivers failed or the fact plugging the amp in failed?
Do you have another USB cable to try?

If the device drivers failed installation, you need to find out why.
Could be the drivers you have are incorrect...not sure if you can download new one from Fender or not...but I'd try that.

The actual driver installation failed - and I think I got the correct ones from the Fender site.

OK, figured it out. I had uninstalled Fuse and re-installed to try to fix the issue, but I think the first couple of times I didn't get the program completely uninstalled. Made sure all traces were gone, re-installed the latest version, and I'm back in business.
