The 27th of August this year, I did receive a mail stated that I won the runner up prize of Steve Winwood Fender competition I entered!

I was really happy. I phoned to the person in charge of prize deliveries, and since then I'm still waiting my prize (I was told it's a Gdec 3 Thirty).

Maybe it's because it takes a long time to ship an amp from Arizona to France ?

Help me please!

Did you ever talk to the person in charge of prize deliveries? I'm not sure this forum is the best place to get assistance with that.

I will phone back tomorrow Island Records, in London, UK. They're responsible for prize deliveries :)

The amp was delivered to my door yesterday. But I wasn't able to use it. I was waiting for it since a long time and was slightly disapointed :(

As I live in France, I was offered an amp working on 120V 60 Hz, and power supply is in 230V 50 Hz here in France.

What should I do ?

Buy a converter to make it work on your current. I don't know if you have RadioShack or something like it there, but they would have what you need.

bclarke675: sure we have that in France.

But there's two drawbacks.

I'd rather have an amp working on my 220V line voltage.

and if I read this I might experience the same trouble:

I'll use a proper transformer step down voltage transformer!

First try of the amp this afternoon. I'm very impressed by the number of amplifier modelized...
it's a good platform for improving my level at playing the guitar. the track slow blues in A is delicious!

congrats to all the fender team!

You could be glad.
Congrats all the team at Fender. I did appreciate too, the DVD supplied with the amp, all the demos made :) Congrats to Shane Nicholas too!
