When using my wah pedal with the G-DEC all sounds great until I turn the volume all the way down on my Strat and terrible noise breaks loose. Any solutions ?

Just a thought.

Does the preset you're using with the wah have the compressor on (especially at a high setting)? If so, it's picking up the low-level sound from the wah and trying to increase it when you turn your guitar volume down.

I'm assuming that your wah doesn't do this with a non-modelling amp?!?

Have fun,
Bob

Hi Bob thanks for your reply :D No there is no compressor in the preset and yes the wah works fine on a normal tube amp. I assume it's all down to some collision of digital and analog technology.

Regards,

Frank

The other thought is that if there's much Gain on the preset or on a Stomp Pedal in the preset, it may cause compression which would have the same effect. :?
