With about 80% of the effects on my amp (GDEC 3 30, which I bought yesterday) a really loud blaring noise comes from the amp as soon as i go to it. I play an acoustic - electric guitar...so it doesnt have pickups and i'm assuming it may have something to do with the mic inside the guitar or however it works...

if anybody has any suggestions or knows the reason why..all help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah. That sounds like feedback. Your guitar probably does have some kind of pickup. What's happening (most likely) is that what comes out of your amp's speaker is going into your guitar (which is a resounding chamber), and thus being fed back to your pickup, and thus going into the amplifier, and coming out of the speaker, and then going into your guitar (which is a resounding chamber), and thus being fed back to your pickup, and thus going into the amplifier, and coming out of the speaker, and then going into your guitar (which is a resounding chamber), and thus being fed back....

You see why it is called "feedback"?

What can you do about it?

Play in a different location, or move the amp relative to where you play, so that the sound is not picked up by your guitar to feedback.

Or lower your volume.

Or get a notch filter or equalizer that can zero in on the frequency range that is feeding back, and reduce that range.

Or, if your guitar has a round soundhole, get a Feedback Buster or other type of hole plug, which will prevent the sound from the speaker getting back into your guitar.
