No I work hard for my money and also an in IT and realize that doing a fix like that is EASY
so Fender would be totally cheaping out if they didn't have the more expensive version do the same
it's hardly a big deal at all

it's a great little amp and that is NOT the point

any IT product should have adequate support and updates to it regularly

I just would like a sign that Fender will
continue to support their product with these updates or plans to drop it like a rock

cheers

I'm the customer remember?
I paid for my amp didn't get it for free I should be able to voice my opinion

Fender have to deal with the circuitboard hardware as it is. If G-Dec
motherboards have the amp model area in a flashable memory chip
to support such an update, perhaps it will happen, if not, not even a
Shakira Rain Dance  will change things. I personally don't think the models
can be changed or supplemented, but I'm not privy to any inside information.
My wild guess is any firmware that can be updated, is separate from the amp models,
which to keep list price low, may have been carved in stone. I'd be happy to have guessed wrong. :)

Hi Guys,

We've had that request a few times. If it was only as simple as a firmware update we would be more than happy to add that functionality. The truth is that the hardware is what it is.

I understand why you would want features on a $400 amp that are present on a $100 amp. We're always working on new ways to implement requested features. We'll let you know as soon as we find a way to implement those controls on G-DEC 3.

fair enough

So we can assume that Fender is working on updates and fixes constantly?

Thanks for the reply

Definitely Tone. With software there are always bugs to fix and feature requests from users to implement.
