I would like to put in a request for Fender to put up some drum only backing tracks for use on the G-Dec 3.

In the mean time, anyone know of a place to download some good looping drum tracks. I already have some midi drum loops, but am hoping to have some actual recorded drum loops.

Thanks all!

Click on an item, and quint where it says 'Instant Download' and there should be a link to a
free demo of each loop set. High quality, and I thing everything on the sight has a demo! Good folks to purchase from.

A Yamaha 413/423, dgx 220/230 and many models have over 100 rythms each, (and 500 XG sounds, a dozen or so kits), $100-$200
you can feed these to the line input. You can also layer two different kits an octave or two apart, beat out some custom rythms with delay/echo, recorded in audacity,
(with 2 different drums on each key) when you have a couple good measures, cut-n-pate it to itself for lenth, export it as .mp3 or .wav

for downloaded loops, in audacity or other editor, in menus and buttons,

select all
copy
fast forward
paste

repeat the steps til you have a long enough version, export as .wav or mp3, click options for mp3 birate in aucacity.

Cheers

I appreciate the reply, but every sample I listened to on that site seemed made for techno/house/hiphop/trance/dance whatever music. Some of it sounded pretty cool but not usable for me.

Thanks.

You can always make your own in Ableton. That is what I plan on doing very shortly.

Since I never got a reply from a Fender person, I would like to request that they release some Drum only backing tracks/loops. I already have the midi tracks form the original g-dec, but would prefer something a little more realistic sounding.

Thanks. :?

Hey McBrideB78,

It appears your thread got lost in the sea of other threads. There are a few others that have asked for "drum only" Band Tracks so we may release some in the future.

In the meantime, have you done any research into drum loop sample CD's? There are thousands of professionally recorded drum loop CD's available for order online and most of them are downloadable. Some of these are recorded in world famous live rooms with classic mic's and mixed using vintage consoles. Definitely worth taking a look.
